Black Pen Society 2023

On August the 5th, 2023 at 9pm the Grand Poobah called to order the annual meeting of the Black Pen Society.Past pins were discussed and the new pin presented to the group.Lastly, the Grand Poobah introduced the 2023 Black Pen.Nicknamed “Stubby” for it overall length of just five inches.

The pen feels right in the hand, even thought it is short overall.The body maintains enough length and diameter to fit large hands, along with the rest of us.Sporting a Jowo #6 nib in polished stainless, this pen may be small, but mighty.The hardware was crafted from stainless steel and given a brushed texture.

We poured the black resin rods with just a touch of pearl, which dances in the light.Not all black pens need be dull.

As will all our pens this can use the included converter, cartridge, or be used as an eye dropper.
